Information
January 11, 2008
Greetings!
The Warrenville Athletic
Association is a non-profit, volunteer organization whose
mission is to provide high quality youth baseball programs to
Warrenville and surrounding communities. Thanks to the generous
support of our sponsors the 2007 baseball season was one of our
most successful seasons ever. We are very excited about the 2008 season, but we need
your help.
Sponsorship of our program allows
you to support the youth of Warrenville and also provides
businesses excellent visibility throughout Warrenville and the
surrounding communities. All sponsors are identified on our
website, www.waasports.com. Field Sponsors, Travel Team
Sponsors, Special Event Sponsors and Capital Program Sponsors
receive a prominent display at the top of our home page. Links
to sponsor's websites will be accommodated. All sponsors will
also be identified on all WAA mailings. The Team Sponsors and
Travel Teams Sponsors will be named on the team uniforms. Field
Sponsors, Special Event Sponsors and Capital Program Sponsors
will be identified on banners placed at all fields throughout
the entire baseball season.
The following pages provide a
summary of the various sponsorship programs that are available
for 2008. After you have had the opportunity to consider our
sponsorship programs, please complete and return the attached
Sponsorship Form along with a check for the appropriate pledge
in the enclosed envelope. We would like to receive all responses
no later than February 17, 2008. If you would prefer to support
the Warrenville Athletic Association in a way other than the
options listed, please contact us. You can contact the
Warrenville Athletic Association by leaving a message at (630)
393-4188, emailing us at waasports.com or by contacting a member of the fundraising committee.

Field Sponsorship
Our Field Sponsorships provide
sponsors with their logo on a banner at All 8 FIELDS DURING THE
ENTIRE BASEBALL SEASON. Sponsor banners will be hung from the
top of our field backstops beginning the weekend of April 26th and
will stay up until the weekend of July 20th. Each field will
host approximately fifty games throughout the season. Field
Sponsorships require a pledge of $500.
Travel Team Sponsorship
Our Travel Team Sponsorships
provide support to our travel team program. Our 6 travel teams
will compete in over 30 competitive games each against neighboring
communities. All Travel Team sponsors will be displayed on a
banner we take with us to each of our games, home and away.
Travel Team Sponsorships require a pledge of $500.
Team Sponsorship
Our Team Sponsorships provide the
opportunity to sponsor a specific team. Team Sponsors are
prominently displayed on the team uniforms. We expect to have
approximately 20 teams during the upcoming season. Specific team
or age group sponsorship will be accommodated on a first come,
first served basis. Team Sponsorships require a pledge of $250
for the season.
Special Events Sponsorship
Our Special Events Sponsorships
provide acknowledgment at each of our league events during the
upcoming season. Sponsor provided material would be prominently
displayed at each of our special events. Special Events Sponsors
will also have their logo displayed on our Field Banners.
Pre Season Banquet: Two evenings
in March in which substantially all players and families attend.
Season Opening Weekend The first weekend in May when all ballfields in town will be filled with players and fans. July
Picnic and All-star Games: A weekend in July in which all-star
games are played and all teams and players are invited for award
presentations and an afternoon of food and drink. Big Hit 2008
Tournaments. Several weekends in June and July in which the WAA hosts
multiple team tournaments. We expect to have 6-8 teams
participate at each level.
Capital Program Sponsorship
Our Capital Program Sponsorships
are designed to support a specific capital need, including field
improvements, major equipment purchases and other program needs.
The Sponsor is permanently and publicly acknowledged (unless
otherwise requested) and associated with the capital
improvements.
