About the Warrenville Athletic Association

The Warrenville Athletic Association, an affiliate of the Warrenville Park District, is a non-profit, volunteer organization whose mission is to provide high quality youth baseball programs to Warrenville and surrounding communities. Emphasis at all levels is placed on sportsmanship, team spirit and baseball fundamentals. The WAA is committed to elevating the quality of our youth baseball programs and related athletic facilities. All of our in-house leagues are instructional or semi-competitive in which all children have an opportunity to play. All leagues require a continuous batting order of all players present. Complete uniforms are provided at all levels except for the Shetland league. The Shetland players receive shirts and hats only.

We are also proud to offer our 6th year of the travel team program. This program is designed for players that want to play baseball in a competitive environment against other travel teams. The travel teams will play games against neighboring communities in the Mustang, Bronco, and Pony leagues (6 teams – 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 year old teams). The 9 and 10 year old travel team schedules will allow players to play on both the in-house league and travel league without conflict. The 11, 12, 13 and 14 year old teams are full time travel teams.  The traveling teams are selected based on player skills. The highlight of the travel program will again be our tournament for 13 year old teams on May 19-21, our tournament for 14 year old teams the date to be announced and our Big Hit Tournament on July 14-16.

The Warrenville Athletic Association also provides various other events for the league participants and their families including our season opening banquet, end of season picnic and Warrenville Athletic Association night at a Kane County Cougars game.
